If this does not work, please check the settings again. Add Account Launch Outlook for Mac Select Tools from the top menu bar and then Accounts Select the E-mail Account option Enter all the relevant details.

You can now test this by sending an email to yourself. To ensure that sending also works, you will need to adjust the settings for the outgoing mail server. If you've previously created an e-mail account for a different e-mail address, in the lower-left corner of the Accounts dialog box, click +, and then click Exchange. The full name will be displayed on your outgoing emails as the sender name. If this is the first account you're creating in Outlook 2011, under Add an Account, click Exchange Account. As soon as you have entered both, more input fields will be displayed.
